Cocoon Shell

Game Sessions & Now Playing

Track playtime and use Cocoon's Now Playing view.

Game Sessions & Now Playing

Enable Settings → System & Advance → Game Session Tracking and grant Usage Access. Cocoon can then record playtime and tell when a game starts or stops.

Tracking is used by:

  • Playtime and session history
  • Log and playtime widgets
  • Now Playing
  • Discord Rich Presence
  • Picnic screenshot matching

You can turn tracking off for an emulator or Android app from its settings.

Session Settings

Open Settings → System & Advance → Game Sessions to choose how Cocoon decides a session has ended.

To correct your history, open the game and choose Edit → Edit Metadata → Play Sessions.

Now Playing

On dual-screen devices, Now Playing can show information and controls on the other display while a game runs. Change its appearance under Settings → Personalization → Now Playing Style.

If playtime or Discord activity is missing, check that Usage Access and Game Session Tracking are both enabled.
